My favorite dish to make for my family is lasagna. It is done only a few times a year as by the time I make the sauce, gather the 6 types of cheese, fresh sausage from the butcher and herbs from the garden I am tired. Then there is putting it together and baking. But my family loves it and it is always gone quickly, just leaving me with a lot of dishes to clean up!

I love to make strawberries and cream stuffed French toast with my chocolate berry drizzle. I use thick cinnamon swirl bread and a yummy vanilla egg dip, fresh strawberries and cream cheese, and I top it all off with my chocolate berry sauce and a dusting of powdered sugar. Mmmm… I think I am going to go make some right now actually. Anybody want some?

My favorite dish to make is a Italian Pasta salad. I use colored cooked squiggle pasta, artichoke hearts, black olives, kidney beans, red onions, cherry tomatoes, and garbanzo beans. I mix it all together with Bernsteins Italian dressing (use a lot of dressing it gets soaked up as it sits). Refrigerate Best when made several hours or a day ahead.

Hmmm… are snickerdoodles a dish? 😉 My favorite thing to make is pizza – from scratch. I love everything about it, from kneading the dough to creating all kinds of tasty topping combos. Current fave: olive oil/garlic/herb sauce with thick cut bacon, sweet corn, and fresh mozzarella! Try it.

I Love to make Chicken Tetrazzini. It was a childhood favorite that carried over into adulthood. It was what I used to make for all my friends in my early 20’s and it has remained a staple in my married life. It’s an easy dish that whips together using the microwave, and then heats in the oven. Always a great comfort dish and goes even better with a nice glass of wine!

Ham and Potato Casserole. Everyone loves it but it is time consuming making the cheese sauce and all the dicing and chopping, etc. But worth it.
