Uncommon Personalities: Meet Elisha Janas

My hometown…
Fulton, NY. It’s a small city in upstate NY.

I’m inspired by…
Typography, architecture, textures and anything vintage.

An uncommon fact about me…
One of my ancestors, Abraham Clark, signed the Declaration of Independence. I did a report on him in 4th grade but all I can remember about him is that his signature says “Abra Clark”.

I’m stubborn about…
Details. It’s all in the details. For example, subtle color or font change can make all the difference in the overall look of a product.

If I’m not working, I am probably…
Doodling with gel pens, embroidering paper or reading on a subway platform because I missed my train.

When I was little, I dreamed of…
Playing in the WNBA, even though I was never very tall. I figured if Muggsy Bogues could do it, I could, too.

My guilty pleasure is…
80’s music.

My style is…
Clean and modern as a designer but eclectic and comfortable as a decorator.

Hi, AnnMarie. Thanks for your interest in the City Map Glasses. We don’t currently offer custom glasses, and unfortunately, none of the cities you listed are part of our current assortment. (As a native Rochesterian myself, I say this with genuine regret.) We do offer a New York City glass, which you can purchase here; as to the other cities, I’ll pass your feedback on to our buyers. Thanks again!
